It’s not permissible to delay zakat like this at all! You can give next year’s zakat in advance on monthly basis if you want.

QUESTION: I have estimated the zakat of my gold for whole year, i am a salaried person, i cannot pay whole amount yearly, instead i pay it on monthly basis as divided the whole amount over 12 months from my salary, Is it okay?
