You won’t be rewarded for it if you don’t have the prior intention of doing this for the sake of Allah to gain rewards!

QUESTION: I give charity and like doing good things because of instinct rather than always thinking I’m doing this for the sake of Allah? Does that result in lesser rewards? How do you advice changing this kind of mindset?
