ANSWER:

In the masjid you must follow the imam and pray in full, normally.

Who in his right mind would go to Makkah and pray in his hotel room and skip the masjid? 

QUESTION: I am going for Hajj this year Inshallah. I will be going straight to Makkah and staying there for 12 days before going to Mina on 8th of Zul hijjah for Hajj. My question is should I be praying Qasr salah for the duration of my stay in Makkah? What is recommended and more rewarding (qasr or full salah)?
