You should give zakat in cash to poor and needy Muslims in their hands for them to do whatever they want to do with it.

QUESTION: I am giving Zakat to a Charitable Trust (run by Muslims) who is collecting Zakat & giving it as an Educational scholarship only to the verified poor or needy muslim students studying in school or college throughout the country. Is my Zakat accepted?
