ANSWER:

If it is really transparent and you can see the color of his skin, his prayer is invalid and so is the prayer of those praying behind him.

But if it is not that transparent, then the prayer is valid and he must be advised not to wear such clothes.

QUESTION: Before the starting of salat i noticed that imam’s awrah was exposed as he was wearing thin thobe.I was hesitant to say anything.I prayed behind him.Is the salat valid or should i repeat it?
