ANSWER:

This is correct and you should also say subhanallah 33 times, alhamdulillah 33 times and Allahu Akbar 34 times. There are many other Duaa you can find in the ‘Fortress of the Muslim’.

Please tell me whether what I am doing is good or wrong: before sleeping I cup my hands, blow in it and say the 3 Quls and wipe my body. I do this three times. Then I recite Surah Al Mulk and Ayatul Kursi. To finish things off, I recite Al Kafiroon as I read a hadith about it preventing you from Shirk. Is what I am doing good? Thank you.

Sometimes after finishing praying with the Salam I raise my hands & make Dua to Allah in my language (since I can’t speak Arabic). I know that dua should be said while still in the prayer but I struggle with memorizing long Arabic Duas & feared of making my prayers invalid if I say it in my language. Is that allowed? I don’t do it routinely & dont do it in congregation.
