You are not required to financially support your husband. Your husband is the provider of the family and he is responsible for taking care of your basic needs however, you must not prevent him from financially supporting his family if they are in need providing he is giving you enough.

my question is that i am a working woman.my husband become jobless just after marriag.i spent my whole money on him.as i thought thats my responsiblity.now my husband got job alhumdulillah.his earning is sufficient for two persons.now his father has his own bussiness and brother also supporting his parents. now they started to ask money.he shud spend that money on me?or not!

sheikh my parents has found a guy for me, and I want to know him before nikkah. How can I meet him in halal manner? For instance if I want to know whether he smokes or drinks or something personal, I can ask him privately. I’ll obviously will go with my parents because I don’t have guts to meet any guy. So we’ll be under eye for sure.
