You stop eating when you hear the adhan as it is prohibited to eat or drink when the dawn breaks. Sunrise has nothing to do with fasting while sunset does.

can i fast if im late for sahoor but its still 10 minutes before salah subuh (fajr prayer)?

my daughter is now 6 years old ma sha Allah and is reading her namaaz as and when she is home from school. At what age should a girl start reading namaaz? And boy? And at what age is fasting obligatory on a child? Girl and boy?
