QUESTION: In Ramadan or start of any new month you have to say dua for new month when spotting the moon yourself or hearing the moon has been sighted is enough?

ANSWER: You must make up as many as possible before this Ramadan and make up the rest of them after Ramadan besides repenting sincerely to Allah while showing deep remorse for delaying them for this long.

QUESTION: According to the hadith umrah in ramadan is like doing hajj in reward.. so if someone does umrah in Ramadan on behalf of a deceased will the reward be the same as doing hajj?

ANSWER: It is permissible for a traveler to skip fasting if there is hardship for him If there is no hardship at all, it is best for him to fast with the other Muslims.

QUESTION: After completion of suhoor time The food which we ate in the suhoor That tiny pieces Got stucked in the middle of the teeth and after sometime it came out then Should we swallow it or should we spill out of the mouth ?

ANSWER: You are sinful for delaying making up those days as this is fard while the 6 days of shawwal are voluntary fasts!

QUESTION: Is it permissible for a woman to do sunnah fasts on Monday and Thursday and not fasting the missed days, I mean will the sunnah fasts be accepted?

ANSWER: She must fast the missed fasts first & the best thing she can do is make double intention of fasting the missed days as well as the sunnah fasts and she would get double reward.

QUESTION: I’ve been having periods for 12 years, and since then i havent made up those skipped fasts/rozas . However, I have PCOS and I don’t know how many fasts I’ve missed over the years. Is there any solution for this, as I’m not aware of the exact number of fasts I need to make up? Can i give meals to poor people or money (fidya) as i may have skipped over 12 or 14 rozas per year.

ANSWER: There is no expiation for this except to make up all those fasts. You must estimate an approximate number and add a couple more to it to be on the safe side and make them all up besides repenting sincerely to Allah for delaying them for this long!

QUESTION: I’m flying from Pakistan to Abu Dhabi in Ramadan in the daytime. Going there and coming back within a week. As there is 2hrs time difference between the countries, can I fast while flying either side. Or it’s not permissible and/or recommended.
