ANSWER:

Charity is a good thing that pleases Allah. 

However, the prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam told us that bad dreams are from Satan and that we must not tell anyone about them and to spit 3 times to our left as soon as we wake up from it and seek refuge in Allah from Satan 3 times. The prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam told us that this dream would never harm us.

Therefore, there is no basis for giving charity to erase such a dream as we believe the prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam and not what people say!

QUESTION: I saw a bad dream & my mom told me if we give charity it’ll erase the bad thing it is true?
