QUESTION: My female friend privately teaches a 12-year-old boy at home, in his bedroom with the door open, while his grandmother is elsewhere in the house. Would this be permissible, or would it be better to teach in the living room with the grandmother present, even if she occasionally steps away? I am concerned that this may not be permissible at all, while my friend considers me too strict.
