Muslims are obliged to follow the Quran and Sunnah regardless of their school of thought.
If you believe that this is the way of the prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam and the hadeeth is authentic, what kind of a muslim would you be if you decide to follow your school of thought and abandon the way of the prophet ﷺ ?
