QUESTION: I plan to open a café/restaurant that sells halal food, but free mixing (ikhtilath) between men and women may occur because it only has one open space with separate tables, where customers may stay for a short or long time to eat, study, or work remotely. Am I sinful for the mixing in my café, and is the profit generated from this business halal?”
