This is not permissible as you cannot have two deals in one transaction. If you had bought it, you should only pay the remaining 30% and not a rent!

QUESTION: If I’m buying a flat through instalments and the seller charges rent based on the unpaid percentage — for example, if I’ve paid 70% of the price, I pay rent only on the remaining 30% — then is that rent considered a form of interest?
