QUESTION: If a person commits a major sin and repents, thinking Allah will forgive him, but continues repenting until his heart feels at ease, only then believing Allah has forgiven him, this is not sinful nor kufr. Allah forgives immediately when one sincerely asks, but seeking forgiveness repeatedly for reassurance is permissible and encouraged?
