ANSWER:

If it forms a layer on your skin, the water is blocked from reaching your skin then the wudu is invalid.

You must wash it off & then make wudu

QUESTION: If I have makeup that’s not water proof and I want to perform wudu then would my wudu be valid?What if the makeup doesn’t come off(Foundation,eye liner and lipstick) then is it valid?

QUESTION: Sheikh, when I make wudu at home and then put on long socks, I later wipe over them for ease when I renew my wudu. But when I’m outside, I always see people washing their feet instead of wiping over their socks. Is there more reward for washing the feet when it’s easy to do so, or is wiping over the socks equally rewarding?
