ANSWER:

You must follow the imam in everything he does until he offers the salam then you make up your last 4th rakah as usual.

QUESTION: If I catch imam in his second raka of a prayer with four raka. When will i be reciting the first tashahhud? Is it in the imams third raka which is my second raka. Or follow imam and he carries it for me?
