If he has savings that suffice buying an animal after his expenditure then yes, otherwise no.

QUESTION: Sheikh, I know the Prophet alaihis salatu wassalam used to start eating on the day of eid ul adha with cooked liver of the slaughtered animal. If I want to follow this sunnah, then I’ll have to wait till 3pm based on my situation. If I only drink water or have tea/coffee till that time, will it be permissible? Please advise.
