ANSWER:

It’s not permissible for the one who is paying for the qurbani to cut his/her nails and any part of body or head hair from the 1st of dhul hijjah until his animal is slaughtered. 

QUESTION: Sheikh, please enlighten me about cutting of hair and nail befor Qurbani. Is there any rule not to cut hair or nail befor certain days of qurbani?

QUESTION: If there r 7 people in the family. No the main head who is the father is sacrificing 7 goats of each of them. Than is it necessary for other members of the family not to cut hair and nails. Or is it only 4 the person who is paying 4 the sacrifice? whether he is doing it for all of his family members. And his family members also recite takbeer on their sacrifice.. while sacrifice is done by butcher
