Hajj and Umrah

My uncle is handicap person who doesn’t have both arms. We all are planing for an Umrah together. I want to know if the Ehram rulings apply to him also? Can he being a special case use pins or alternative?

I am in my iddah after khula. And also I have booked tickets for umrah thinking that my iddah will get over before the umrah dates. But now i have my cycles on the date of the umrah ticket. Can I go to umrah when I am still in the state of menses as its also the iddah period ? Or else should I postpone the tickets and go after I get purified ?

If you are certain that you will be pure before the date of going back home, go ahead with your trip, make your Ihram while you are in the plane when crossing over the meeqat, even though you are in menses and once you are pure,make ghusul and proceed with your umrah.

I’m pregnant with my first baby so it goes difficult for me ..my husband wants to perform umrah and takes me as well,but cause i’m fearing of baby condition…can i go with my husband to umrah without performing it? and can i pray in holy places(kaaba, masjid of nabi) without performing umrah?

There is no fear on your pregnancy from Umrah! If you can fly, your can perform Umrah as it is only walking! Besides, there are wheelchairs that your can use throughout the entire Umrah.

At the end of Umrah how much of hair a woman should trim? If I wrap almost half an inch thick string around my finger and snip it? Is that ok? Everyone gives different advice. Please inform.

Women should cut the length of a fingertip from all of their hair.

If the person didn’t perform his Hajj at all but using the money from the will of the dead person which given to him by him to do the hajj for him, . What to do?

Either perform his Fard hajj first or give the money to someone else to perform it.

After performing Umrah men clip hairs (not shave not cut 1/3rd) they just cut from left side 1/2″ then right side 1/2″ and front 1/2″ is this acceptable?

This is wrong and unacceptable. The cutting should be from all over the head!

If someone is financially and physically able but can’t travel for hajj because he is an introvert. So is hajj obligatory on him?

If he is physically and financially able, then yes, hajj is obligatory upon him.

If a woman comes to Jeddah on visit visa with an intention to perform umrah, in this case is she allowed to take shower and change her clothes in Jeddah before going to Makkah? Kindly advice.

If she assumed her Ihram from the meeqat, this is permissible. She is not allowed to make her Ihram from Jeddah.

I was told that in tawaf for umrah you have to pay dam if you touch any part of kaaba (including hijr ismail)and kissing the black stone because of the fragrance of the stone, kiswa etc. Is this true?

No , this is not true.

What is the ruling on taking your grandmother for Umrah? She is my grandfather’s brother’s wife. There is no one else able to take her and she really wants to go for Hajj next year and Umrah next year In sha’Allah. Can you please let me know whether this is permissible to do or not?
