QUESTION: I hope you’re doing well sheikh. Some people say that we have to make wudhu before making a dua, dhikr or even reading the Quran.. is this true?

ANSWER: Wudu is not required to make dua or dhikr. Wudu is mandatory when you touch the Quran but you can recite looking in the phone or from memory without wudu.

QUESTION: Sheikh does reading the quran without wodhu get counted in completing quran? Sometimes I read the Quran without wodhu as in ramadhaan I’m prone to a lot of passing of gasses.

ANSWER: No problem in this as long as you don’t touch the Quran with bare hands. It counts as completing the Quran.

QUESTION: Is it okay if we listen to any Surah on youtube while doing workout , without covering our head.

ANSWER: No problem. Covering the head while reciting Quran or listening to it is not from the sunnah, hence its an innovation.

ANSWER: Yes. They are allowed to recite Quran even outside of Ramadan but not touch the Quran directly.

ANSWER: No. You must not finish the Quran in less than 3 days.

QUESTION: Why it is allowed to read Quran without headcover and in the prayer even when one hair is visible the prayer is invalid…i couldn’t understand the reason beyond this..
