ANSWER: This is not kufr but very childish and inappropriate. Laughing at such a sad incident is sinful.

QUESTION: In Quran chapter one we say “It is only you we ask for help”. So this verse forbids getting help from other humans? Of course not but why does it use the term ONLY? Wish you peace.

ANSWER: Because we seek help ONLY from Allah as He is Allah, the supreme being! Even if we ask others for help in what they are capable of helping us, our hearts are directed towards allah as we know no one can help us without Allah.

QUESTION: Nowadays among the youth, people usually say stuff like “you’re a demon” or “you’re the goat (greatest of all time)” and it is said usually when someone is doing something wild or going crazy in a video game/sport. is saying such stuff permissible or is this sinful?

ANSWER: No problem in calling them goats. As for demons, this is usually attributed to Jinn and devils and this is not permissible to call a Muslim as such.

QUESTION: The mummy of pharaoh in Egypt is considered by some muslims that it’s the body of Pharaoh of the time of Prophet Moses (peace be upon him). I know that this is not true. Then why some muslims consider that body to be of that pharaoh? And where is the body that pharaoh Allah saved from perishing?

QUESTION: Shaykh, I see many pages and comments saying things like, ”Those who love the prophet of Allah, drop a like” or like ”Thousands of books out there but Quran is the best.” Now, the thing is as Muslims, obviously we would love the prophet of Allah and indeed we believe Quran is the best book. But it seems from their comments they do it for likes. What’s the ruling on that?

ANSWER: Yes, the prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam was angered when companions laughed for someone passing wind. Therefore, it is prohibited to laugh.
