Few years back, i had a Mannat(Nazar) that if I get job I will visit the tombs/graves of 3 Sufi saints very popular here in Pakistan. Can I go there and say my salam or recite fatiha or just for a short presence. If not, what would be the alternative to my mannat?

ANSWER: This is not permissible. You must expiate by feeding or clothing 10 poor Muslims.

I made a mannat (منت) to give 10k money when my dua gets accepted. I am now zakaat eligible and the zakaat I have to give this month is around 10k as well. Can I give zakaat and combine the intention of mannat too? (I am giving money before dua is manifested because when I have to give away 10k zakaat, why not to add intention of mannat too) Please guide if this is allowed it not

ANSWER: This is not permissible at all as these are two different obligations on you, you must give them separately and must not combine.

Sheikh, someone recently told me that the Blackstone of the Kaaba was stolen some time ago and returned back to mecca. So how do we as Muslims know that the Blackstone is the same original one that was there before? Is there a story behind it?

ANSWER: This is a true incident and no muslim in his right mind would doubt such a thing unless you would also doubt the quran and the authenticity of the hadeeths of our prophet salla allahu alaihi wa sallam!

I made a promise to allah that I will never drink again when I was really drunk and intoxicated, is that promise valid ?

ANSWER: Yes, it is valid as you remember it after being normal.

I have a weakness for a certain sin, but I hope Allah enables me to overcome it. In effort to do so, I want to start fasting 3 days(randomly picked) each time I commit this sin. Is it okay? If so, are there days I may be prohibited to do such fasting?

ANSWER: This is not recommended as this is mandating something on yourself that Allah didn’t oblige you to do.

If i am forced to make a promise by someone not to do something or if i make a promise and break it as i truthly did not have any knowledge at all on how serious it is to break a oath and realize after and ask for forgiveness to allah is there any sin on me and am i obliged to offer any expiation regardless of this as i felt deep regret?

ANSWER: If you used the name of Allah, you must feed or clothe 10 poor people once you break your oath, or fast 3 days if you are unable to financially feed them.
