Is my husband sister’s sons and my husband brother’s sons are mahram to me?

They are total strangers to you.

I wanted to know if it is permissible to talk to a potential spouse on the phone or on the net or via texting. What are limits a man and woman can talk to each other for the purpose of marriage? Also what constitutes as a mahram?

A sister (revert alhamdulillah) would like to know the following: “Can a muslim boy (who is not praying) be in the room while I am praying if he is not related to me?”

If they are alone in the room, this is not permissible whether she is praying or not. If they are not alone and there are others, this is permissible. She should try her best to be away from their eyes as much as possible

Does the ruling of not sleeping under the same sheet apply to daughter and mother as well? Even if they are sleeping at far ends?

Is there any authentic hadiths narrating that If someone recites Durood 10 times everyday in the morning and eventing will receive intercession(Shifa’ah) from Nabi(SAW) on day of judgement?

There is a hadeeth that Sheikh Al Albani authenticated in the past and then reviewed it and finally said that it was not authentic.

I am planning to go for Umrah with my family. My wife’s mother wants to accompany us is it permissible. As per my knowledge women can not go on journey without the mehram(Brother,Father,Husband or son) or any such relation person accompany them?

It is not permissible to shake hands with the opposite sex who are not Mahram to you even if they were too old.

Shaykh. I started my PhD in the UK in 2008. At that time I did not know that a woman could not travel without a mahram. Actually, a local shaykh told me that since plane journeys are safe these days it is permissible for a woman to travel on her own.
