QUESTION: In my culture when someone is married they give the couples a white wrapper to use on their first night to wipe the blood of the virgin, and the wrapper has to be returned to the relatives. I have a question regarding my mum and my husband’s treatment of my mum. I understand that islamically he is not obliged to obey or do anything for my parents but does it mean he can treat my parents like dirt and can get away with it?
