What is done with the personal belongings of the deceased e.g.clothes, watch,decoration,books? Does it now collectively belong to all the heirs? If so does that mean one heir cannot take it or gift it without the permission of others?

ANSWER: All of these belongings now must be divided among his heirs according to the sharia. No one can gift it as they want, without prior approval of all the heirs.

There were two homes grandmother wills that should be givn only to her two sons(as they took care of her and her daughters since early age bcz grandfather was blind), but she has 6 daughters(married) and 4 sons(2 don’t listen to her n live their own lives),but the eldest son gave 1 home to those 2 sons and 1 home for himself n his bother, is this right?

ANSWER: Such a will is invalid as no one can give any of the heir or deprive and y if the heirs more than their share which was given by Allah!

ANSWER: Cooking pork and other haram food is prohibited. His income is haram for him but not for others and you can inherit him.

To what extent can Haram income from parents be used (if someone is dependent)? Such as inheriting and getting property? Or paying for college tuition?

ANSWER: There’s no problem in utilizing that money and accepting the inheritance as the sin is not on you but the parent who earned it..

A father has 30 acres of land n dats th nly property left wit him n he wants to giv it to his children while he s alive. ANSWER: No problem, he can gift his property in his lifetime but must be equal in whatever he gives to all of his children.

My father passed on 4 months ago. While we are processing the required paperworks for his estate as he did not leave a will, we want to share and distribute to charity some of his clothes and personal belongings. Can we go ahead with this for now as the paperwork does not affect this.
