I want to ask about a hadith that I read in tirmadi 1055 which states that mother Ayesha went to her brother’s grave so doesn’t that prove that women can go sometimes to the graveyard plz clarify?

ANSWER: It is an issue of dispute and the most authentic opinion is that it is prohibited for women to visit graveyards.

You said that we should delete photos of dead people. I wanted to ask about the videos of scholars who have died but their videos are very knowledgeable, should we also delete them?

ANSWER: The ruling is not the same for videos. No problem in keeping the videos of deceased males.

I know there is a specific dua which we should say during the janazah. My question is if someone don’t know the dua will Imam’s recitation will be okay for him, or each and everyone need to say.

ANSWER: Each one must say duaa for the deceased and not necessarily a prescribed duaa as any duaa would do.

Can we recite some Qur’an on behalf of someone and does the sawab reach them if they are alive… And Can we recite Ayat Al kursi for someone’s protection if we are worried about and and don’t know they have recited it or not

I went to a mosque yesterday to pray funeral prayer, the imam tends to give a small lecture about death & who the deceased person was. He would say some verses from the Qur’an. Q) I want to know if this is an innovation?

Is it allowed to share deceased photo on Facebook and twitter? If shared then who will get punishment deceased or the live person who shared the photo.

ANSWER: It is totally prohibited to keep the deceased’s pics. One must destroy them and not share their pictures at all on social media or anywhere.

In Asian countries most parts,people after making some special dishes recite surah fatiha,some other surah and then they ask Allah to forgive the so and so dead people. I know this practice is an innovation but when someone brings that food to our home and we came to know after he left that the above innovation activity is done. So whether we should throw the food away or eat or give to someone?

ANSWER: This is an innovation. If the food is halal, you can eat it providing you are not participating with them in their gatherings.

Whenever I think about death, I feel at ease and fearless since I started praying and doing good deeds. My question is this a good or bad thing?

ANSWER: As long as one is hopeful in Allah and doesn’t do haram or neglect obligations, this is ok in sha Allah. However, one must fear death and his sins.

Does our body feel any pain after death…i have heard that….even if a housefly sit on the deadbody they feel major pain…is this hadees correct!?
