Sheikh I feel like I am not being tested by Allah right now. My life is not the smoothest but I don’t feel like I am going through any hardship or sorrow or anything that tests my patience with Allah. I am very worried maybe Allah doesnt love me or smtn What do you think about it and what should I do?

ANSWER: Allah tests people with wealth and poverty, with health and illness and with peace and wars. One must be grateful to Allah and ask Him to save him from calamities etc.

There is a hadith from Musnad Ahmad, hadith no#12601 which states that Rasool ﷺ said the companions are not his brothers, rather those who are going to believe in him (in future) without seeing him are his brothers. Is it authentic?

ANSWER: Yes.

Am I allowed to fast everyday until I get married to build taqwa and stay away from filthy sins? This may take a few years

ANSWER: The sunnah is to fast every alternate day. However, if this doesn’t curb your desire, you may fast more than that.

If a non-Muslim sneezes can we say bless you and if we sneeze around a non-Muslim and he says it to us can we say thank you

ANSWER: It is not permissible to say “bless you” however if they say it to you, there is no problem in saying “thank you”.

If someone is sleeping/studying or doing anything that requires concentration and I start reciting the Quran loudly in the next room and they feel disturbed. In this case is there any sin on me?

ANSWER: Yes.

When I am driving and texting at the same time, and then I see a cop and put my phone down, is this shirk? (Since Allah was watching me I didn’t stop but for a cop I did…) this has been stressing me out a lot because sometimes I use my phone when I need to when driving.

ANSWER: This is not shirk but sinful as you are breaking the law of the land you’re living in and threatening the lives of others while bringing a bad name for muslims for being irresponsible.

Sheikh, whenever i perform a deed i feel being proud. I want to remove it. Is it waswasa of shaytan. Can you please how to remove proudness

ANSWER: Compare your deed with the many favors and blessings of Allah upon you and how little good deeds you have given! Also always be afraid that Allah may not have accepted your deeds.

I pray tahajjud,Dhuha, all Sunnah and Fard prayers on time, I fast Dawood Fast, sometimes monday and thursday instead, and fast white days. I avoid major sins completely and try hardest to avoid minors. I wear hijab and am polite with people, Alhmadulilah. But sometimes I feel tightness in chest and cry or feel very sad and heavy for no reason. I find it hard to study etc, can you give advice pls

ANSWER: Stay steadfast and do not let go of the rope of Allah and the authentic sunnah and have the best hope in Allah, while keeping your distance from whatever drives you away from Allah.

Is there any du’a which we should recite before eating food or should we just say “Bismillah”?
