I belong to hardcore barelvi family and now family is looking for bride obviously criteria is hardcore barelvi beliefs.my question is if girl is not into shirk? asi enquired she is not into shirk but her father is 1000% ya ghous al madad & grave worshipper types. if i marry this girl can her “mushrik” father be her wali?is nikah valid?or should renew marriage with city qazi as her wali?

ANSWER:
No, he cannot be her wali. Look for a Muslim in her family from her father’s side and he would become her wali. If there is no one like that, then the muslim judge becomes her wali.
