What is the ruling on making animal origami? The result is just folded paper in the shape of an animal and it has no facial features (eyes, nose, mouth, etc.) other than what must appear for its shape. For example, if I was to make elephant origami, the trunk (which is a facial feature) will have to be there but there will be no eyes. Is this considered picture making? Are they permissible to keep

ANSWER:

If it is 2D and it has no facial features, this seems permissible, however not recommended.

But if it is 3D, this is prohibited.
