25 Dhul-Hijjah 1441

I have so much frustration, I have sent a lot of solicitations to work employers, I also signed up at different working agencies, but until now no success. I don’t have a good background, no diplomas, no skills, but in burglary I am the best in my town. I don’t understand why Allah is not helping me, can’t He see I am doing my best, I ask in every prayer but He doesn’t want to listen so why is Allah like this? Is He still angry because what I did in the past?

It is very important for you to know that Allah is the owner and the creator of the heavens and the earth. No one can ask Him about His actions but He asks whomever He wishes.

If He destroys everyone on earth, no one can object to that.

If He throws people in Hell, this is up to Him and if He allows them in Paradise, this is up to Him.

You have to believe that Allah is fair and just and all what He does is for a wisdom that we don’t know it.

When Prophet Job (Ayoob) peace be upon him fell ill, he remained ill for 18 years before Allah cured him and he is a Prophet.

Prophet Jonah (Younus) was in the belly of the whale for 3 days and nights before Allah answered his prayers and saved him.

Our Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam was in confusion for a whole month when the hypocrites accused his wife with adultery and he didn’t know what to do for one month until Allah told him that she was innocent.

Allah is testing you and Allah loves you to call Him in need and in humility no matter what happens. If you pray for him for one month and then object that He is not listening to you, He is not a social worker or a civil servant. He is ALLAH the Creator of the Heavens and the earth and no one can be anything but a poor slave of His. He is the Master and we are the slaves and He may do with us what He pleases.

You are not better that these Prophets. Therefore, be patient and content. Call Him again and again in humility until you die even if you don’t see what you are calling Him for happens.

Our Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam told us that when we ask Allah for something, He either gives it to us, directs away harm that is equivalent to it or stores it for us on the Day of Judgment.

This means that whenever you ask Him, you are on the winning side. Therefore, never give up hope and never forget that He is the Master and you are the slave.

As for those who claim that I am saying this only to make you happy, they are telling lies.

I don’t know you and I have never met you and I don’t need to lie to you. I know that you are smart because only smart people can rob houses without being noticed and because I talked to you on the phone a number of times and I can see from your e-mails that you are a sensible person but a little bit confused.

I pray to Allah that He would grant you a descent halal job that would make you happy.
