When we say Al Maseeh, this refers only to Jesus, peace be upon him. The other one, we always assoiciate him with Ad’dajjal. For Jesus, he was called by this name because he used to wipe people’s illnesses and it would be cured with Allah’s grace. As for the other imposture, he was called in this name because he has one of his eyes wiped out and flat.

What exactly doesthe word messiah mean and do Muslims call both Prophet Isa (alayhi salam) and dajjal asthe messiah?

As I read the quran, I find many rasuuls (prophets) were sent mainly to people in the middle eastern region and we do not hear much about other civilizations that predate these people e,g the chineese, Indians, Europeans,Greeks,and so on. What could be the explanation for this?
