ANSWER: 

It is not permissible to lie, lying is one of the major sins in Islam.

It’s not permissible to break the law of the country. You must obey the law of the land you’re living in.

To save a heavy tax levied on us, can we show false accounts to the government and evade tax on our hard earned money? Is this halal to lie in this case?
