ANSWER:

The prohibition is in eating raw onions and garlic and going to the Masjid. It has no impact on the prayer of an individual. 

This is in regards to salah being acceptable when prayed after eating onion n garlic? I have heard a hadith (interpretation of d meaning):Muhammad pbuh said whoever eats onion and garlic,should not even pass by our masjids. Is this hadith referring to ea raw onions and garlic ? Normally , onions and garlic is garnished in all the kinds of meals prepared for example in lentil soup, Meat curry etc.
