A person can intend to fast Ramadan before the break of dawn, even if he is in the state of sexual impurity.

For voluntary fasting, one can intend it whenever he wants during the day, providing that he didn’t drink or eat anything after the break of dawn.

This is hadith in context to ayat no 187 al baqarah…about junub., it says that Prophet,Salla Allahu Alaihi wa Sallam, took a bath in the morning after he woke up and he completed the fast…Umm Salamah (ra) added that would not break up the fast or make up for that day. I am little confused that when a person fast he has to pray fajr n then make the niyaah for the fast ..so in that case he has to take a shower..and what time of the day is Prophet,Salla Allahu Alaihi wa Sallam, taking a shower . Please explain.
