Suffering for the sake of Allah
The Prophet (salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam) used to pray night prayer until his feet was swollen. After all these trails one would expect for him to go back to his bed and sleep for a good 6 or 8 hours. The prophet would spend the night praying and asking Allah (Azza wa jal) guidance for you, his Ummah. He would ask Allah (Azza wa jal) for forgiveness for you, his Ummah (salla Allahu alahi wa sallam). So the prophet (salla Allahu alahi wa sallam), suffered, the prophet (Alayhi salatu wasalam) had great trails only so that this religion would reach you and for you to enjoy it and In sha Allah afterwards to enjoy Paradise due to your good deeds.
Now the question would be “What in return have we presented to the beautiful religion of Islam, so that we can justify the trails of the prophet (Alayhi salatu wasalam)?” This is your responsibility, this is my responsibility. After going through the trails of the prophet (Alayhi salatu wasalam) that we acknowledge the fact that we cannot be leaders in Islam. We cannot be imams in Islam until we face similar trails until we suffer for the sake of Allah in accordance to the Quran and Sunnah of the prophet (salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam). Wallahu A’lam.
