ANSWER:

There are hadeeths that say that but as scholars combined all the other hadeeths, he was not black but rather with a bit of dark skin when compared to those who were really white. However, when not compared, he is white with slight redness. 

Someone told me that Prophet Adam (as) was black. I didn’t find any proof for that, then I was told that the meaning of “Adam” in Arabic means “black” and that this is the proof. Is it true?
