ANSWER:

This is not how istikhara works. Once you have made a firm decision, you pray istikhara. If there is any good in it for you, Allah will facilitate it for you.

Some days ago, my family was introduced to a practising Muslim for marriage. I did istikhara but I am confused regarding results. My day did not go well after I did istikhara (faced some work problems) but some marriage related posts on fb randomly appeared to me. I think this person is right for me because he’s one of the few religious Muslims here. What should I do?
