Ask your mother not to believe her and ask your husband to stop them
from calling your mother or demand moving out to a separate home.

sheikh,I wish I didn’t have to complain about my in laws. It’s unethical I know. How do I deal with my mum & sis in law… they keep calling my mother up, spreading outragous lies about me at the say so of my psychopath husband. All of my in laws are terrified of him especially his mother by her own admission. They made the relationship between me & my mum turbulent. Advice?

My parents and other family openly insult my wife and do not respect me as I earn much less than them but I do not shoult back out of respect for them as my parents n elders. I feel very upset that my wife has to go through this and guilty because I can’t help her here (May Allah reward her patience). However, is this fair? What are my rights as the youngest family member?
