ANSWER:

If he is working against Islam and Muslims, his salary is haram.

Also, if he is taking cases and applying the rule of secular states, this is forbidden as one can only rule with the Islamic law except in cases that he is defending the rights of the oppressed and the likes.

 

sheikh, pls is it ok to study civil law and practice it if it is the law practiced in your country?
