ANSWER:

If your savings reach the nisab and if one whole lunar year passes over it then you’re eligible for zakat, whether you live with your parents or alone. 

Sheikh, I have started a job and earning a decent amount mashallah. But i’m not married and yet living with my parents. Do i need to give zakat as an individual or if my father gives zakat that will suffice mine?
