The Sunnah is to do it on the 7th day. It can be done after that.

Sheikh do we have to offer the haqiqah of new born baby within the 7 days of birth or can we do it after as well? After 7 days is it considered haqiwah or sadqa?

If by any unavoidable reason we failed to do the aqeeqah on the 7th day of the new born baby, is there any prescribed day to do dat? Like 14th or 21st? Or after 7th, any day Is ok for dat?
