It is good! What your uncle is saying is good only when one knows Arabic and has
knowledge sufficient to enable him to know which is authentic and
which is not and this can only be for a student of knowledge.

Shaykh I’m in the path of memorising the quran.I still do not start the path of talab al ilm as I will apply insha Allah in an islamic univ.So by know I’m following imams as bin baz al uthaymin. My uncle said me that you should follow the dalil not follow all what a person say without knowing the dalil(which is what I’m doing with you,I ask you and I follow what you say me).Is good what I’m doing?
