This is baseless and may lead to shirk.

One hanafi (Sufi) scholar said that our deeds are presented to Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم on regularly and especially when we visit his روضة in Madinah and pay salaam to him . That is why we should feel more scared & ashamed in Madinah than in Makkah as we are sinners & he صلى الله عليه وسلم would feel sad to see our sins
