ANSWER:

Handle him with love and care, maybe he needs more attention of yours. Treat him with compassion but don’t give him anything he wants and especially when he cries so that he wouldn’t always resort to such methods. Show him how much Quran is important and reward him for memorizing it and praise him in front of others for it. 

My son is 10 and has recently changed with his attitude towards me and his attitude to memorizing the Qur’an. He frequently gets upset and cries if I don’t give him what he wants. I was hoping if you could give me advice on how to change him back to the loving boy he once was and how to instill the love of Qur’an in his heart.
