ANSWER:

Nobody can love the Prophet salla Allahu aliaihi wa sallam more than the companions, we can try to reach that level by following the sunnah to the letter. But still the level of love of the companions towards the Prophet is way high. 

My mum told me she and her generation love the Prophet more than the companions”, I was shocked at such a statement. I told her the Compnanions without a doubt love the Prophet more than we do. What should i tell her to convince her that her statement is false and could perhaps be going against the Quran??
