This is halal investment but be careful to make everything clear before the contract is signed. Some of these business owners look at the investor as a goose that lays golden eggs. So they take your investment and they charge on it license fees, rent, communications, business trips though the project is not requiring all of that. A lot of these business owners don’t fear Allah! So, be careful and make things clear before you begin the investment.

My friend is running a technical services company CCTV, etc & I want to invest. What we decided it will not be on partnership on company level rather to invest on project basis and he always quotes customer keeping his profit in it and therefore my profit will also be early setteled. lets say 15-20% of the project forecasted profit. Is this halal investment?
