ANSWER:

Yes, you and his other heirs can accept this as the sin is only on the one who took this policy and it is halal for you all.

My father recently returned to his maker. In his lifetime he was a very pious and helping man. But out of ignorance he was involved in life insurance, and he also took some policy for their sons and daughter. What should I do with the money? Can I accept the full matured value money? Pls help me.
