ANSWER:

No, you must not obey him in this regard as obeying Allah takes precedence over everything, however you must be respectful, never raise your voice, humble and diplomatic when dealing with your parents in these kind of situations. 

My father has a life insurance.No point in explaining him as he never listens even the first word and gets angry. Now, he orders me to deliver a cheque in the bank, for the premium of life insurance. Am I as a son allowed to obey him ? He will then ask my mother. Is she allowed to obey him ? Should parents be obeyed in other haram acts that directly dont belong to me just like the above example
