ANSWER:

It is a part of a Muslim’s belief to have total hope in Allah’s mercy.

If a dua doesn’t get accepted in the exact way you asked for, be assured that it will be answered later in a better way in this world or the next.

Is it wrong to have hope in Allah when humans have no hope? People tell it is impossible but cant I have hope in Allah that he’ll make it possible? Because if I have a hope in Allah and my dua is not accepted then it’ll hurt me more. So should I or should I not have hope in Allah?

Sheikh: For example in todays world there is alot competition so it raises two queries: 1. I will get whatever is decreed for me, irrespective of doing or not doing my field certification or self growth to compete others 2. I should work on self growth by doing my career certifications and i should rely on hard work for competing others Please advise what islam says in this regard
